The Write Stuff: College Essay Workshop

Few things are more stress-inducing than the dreaded Common App college essay, particularly as the deadline draws ever nearer. Maybe your senior has writer’s block or perhaps the essay has been written but needs critiquing and editing. Let’s get to work! Taught by professional editor and writer Maia Gosselin, this bootcamp workshop will cover the ABCs of essay writing from brainstorming to final revisions. Working collaboratively, we will get your student on the road to producing a polished and professional essay to be proud of!
Depending on where your child is in the process, this workshop will cover:
- Brainstorming…What’s Your Story? (If you already have a topic, we can flesh it out)
- Drafts & Discussions
- Edits/Revisions
Open to both seniors working on the essay for this fall’s deadlines and juniors looking to get a jump on the process and improve their writing skills.
