Harborfest & 2nd Annual Chowder Contest

SYC & Swampscott Rec have been teaming up for the last few years to do a beginning-of-the-season Harborfest. This year it will be on June 7th from noon to 4pm. We have vendors, music, blessing of the fleet, kids area, chowder contest, clean harbor awareness, etc. It gets good foot traffic. We’ve had anywhere from 2 to 10 boats and vendors in the Fisherman’s Beach lot and the adjoining park. The event has been growing and maturing every year.

$20 a vendor and all money go to the Friends of Swampscott Sailing, a 501c3 that supports the HS and summer sailing programs. Let us know if you’d like to participate and if you’ll bring a boat(s) or set up a booth. If you know others that are interested please let us know or pass this along.
