Spring Fling with Northeast Arc Recreation

Join us for a fun and inclusive recreational program designed for youth ages 6–16, hosted in partnership between Northeast Arc Recreation and Swampscott Recreation! This event is thoughtfully designed to support participants of all abilities, ensuring an engaging, successful, and confidence-building experience.

Parents are required to stay and will be able to mingle with other parents and NE Arc staff.

Youth will be grouped by age—6–11 and 12–16—so activities can be tailored to developmental needs, social connections, and comfort levels.

Each group will enjoy two one-hour sessions, rotating between active play in the gym and a hands-on activity in the classroom. With staff guiding both spaces, participants will experience structured activities, teamwork, and plenty of fun. After the first hour, groups will switch so everyone can try both environments.

This program offers a well-rounded blend of movement, creativity, and social interaction—all in a supportive setting where youth with disabilities can build skills, make friends, and have an amazing time.
