SUP Together with Northeast Arc Recreation

Northeast Arc Recreation and Swampscott Recreation are excited to continue their partnership for inclusive programming with an all new Stand-Up Paddleboarding program called SUP Together.
A one-of-a-kind program in which each participant will be paired with a Northeast Arc staff member and a Swampscott Recreation stand-up paddleboard instructor. Our combined staffing effort with allow participants to learn at their own pace, ensure they feel safe on the water, and have the most fun!
This program will help participants learn the basic skills of paddleboarding while increasing their confidence in a new activity. The focus of this program is being on the water and paddleboarding, but we will have additional activities to do on the beach; like games, art, and the opportunity for forming those social connections.
Space is limited for this program to ensure safety for all in the water as we embark in this new adventure!
Life jackets will be required to be worn by all parties when in the water. We will have some on hand for those that don’t have one. For the success of both participants and staff, we ask that you refrain from interrupting sessions or providing coaching during activities.
